On any given afternoon, Dollye A. plays piano \u2013 just as she\u2019s done for the past 90 years \u2013 as her new neighbors listen and sometimes even dance to her performance.<\/p>

The 93-year-old pianist just moved into Double Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care<\/a> in Round Rock, Texas. If you\u2019ve done the math, her love of music began when she was just 3 years old.<\/p>

Though she has cognitive decline, her fingertips will never forget the playlist of music imprinted in her mind after decades of practice. \u201cWith her having dementia, she hasn\u2019t lost the music,\u201d her daughter, Gigi H. shares. \u201cBefore I even brought her here, I\u2019d look at her, and she\u2019d be moving her feet.\u201d<\/p>

\u201cI asked her, \u2018What are you doing?\u2019\u201d Gigi added. \u201cAnd she goes, \u2018I\u2019m playing the piano!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Dollye has always been exceptionally bright. After graduating high school at 14, she would complete college shortly after at the age of 17. She and her late husband loved sharing their knowledge with others, and they would for many years as teachers.<\/p>

As she settles into her new home, the happiness she spreads is already capturing attention!
