At the beginning of the year, residents of The Bluffs of Flagstaff took on the 2025 Total Wellness Reset Challenge, pushing themselves to move more, think sharper, and support one another along the way.<\/p>

Over one-third of the community participated, engaging in yoga, Tai Chi, brainteasers, hiking, and fitness tests with Select Rehabilitation. A public leaderboard in the Multi-Purpose Room kept motivation high while a free massage session awaited the top scorer. The residents received medals for their efforts, and many were surprised by their achievements. The competition even caught the attention of The Arizona Daily Sun<\/a>, which wrote about their success.<\/p>

The Bluffs of Flagstaff\u2019s partner, Select Rehabilitation<\/a>, provides physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Their team works with residents to improve mobility, maintain independence, and meet personal wellness goals.<\/p>

\u201cMy goal for 2025 is for my exercise and wellness programs<\/a> to max out and overflow \u2014 we\u2019ve already had to buy more chairs and weights for our fitness room!\u201d said Shelby Davison, Independent Living Activities Director. \u201cBut ultimately, I want my residents to be confident in themselves and to feel their very best!\u201d<\/p>

Due to the success of the first challenge, The Bluffs plans to introduce new wellness challenges each month. February kicked off with a Hydration Challenge, reinforcing the importance of proper water intake \u2013 and that\u2019s just the beginning!<\/p>

\u201cThe best part is seeing how much fun our residents are having,\u201d said Andy Auteri, Executive Director. \u201cThey\u2019re lifting each other up, trying new things, and proving that age is just a number when it comes to staying active.\u201d<\/p>
