Sandra LeBlanc: Leading with Vision and Experience<\/h2>

The Executive Director of Our Luxury Independent Senior Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Community<\/h3>

Sandra LeBlanc holds the position of Executive Director at The Brooks of Cibolo, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in senior living management.<\/p>

How has Sandra progressed along her senior living journey?<\/h4>

While in college, Sandra started her journey in senior living as a certified nursing assistant at a skilled nursing facility. She had always enjoyed spending time with the senior population and took care of her dad for 10 years after his diagnosis of Parkinson’s and diabetes.<\/p>

After college, Sandra became the business manager of a senior living community. She was soon promoted to Executive Director and remained the business manager.<\/p>

In 2012, Sandra became a Certified Dementia Practitioner. When her daughter had her first grandchild, she decided to move to Texas, getting her Certified Assisted Living Manager License in 2020 so she could work there. She then started serving seniors in San Antonio.<\/p>

After turning it around and restoring the community to optimal occupancy numbers, she left and started her journey with Civitas communities. At the company convention in 2022, she was promoted to Senior Executive Director and won the Leadership Award and the Turnaround Award.<\/p>

The Community Relations Director Responsible for Relationship Building<\/h3>

As our Community Relations Director, Bianca Perez is pivotal in cultivating meaningful relationships within our community. With warmth and compassion, she excels in connecting with residents, families, and staff members.<\/p>

How did Bianca enter the field of senior living?<\/h4>

She started her journey in senior living seven years ago as a concierge, then worked in sales and marketing. Bianca loves learning about her prospective residents’ life stories.<\/p>

What does she have to say about her career?<\/h4>

Bianca states, \u201cIt is amazing some of the things you learn from our senior citizens and the life they lead. It is an honor to be a part of their lives.\u201d<\/p>

Doris King: Promoting Wellness and Vitality<\/h2>

The Wellness Director Enhancing Residents\u2019 Mental and Physical Health<\/h3>

With her extensive background in healthcare and a holistic approach to wellness, Doris ensures residents have access to a range of wellness programs and services that align with their specific needs.<\/p>

How has Doris become a senior living expert?<\/h4>

Doris moved to Cibolo in 2007. She has been a nurse and has worked in senior living for 25 years, with 15 of them being in assisted living. Doris was promoted to Senior Wellness Director and had the honor of receiving the Wellness Director of the Year award from Civitas in 2022.<\/p>

What has she expressed about her role?<\/h4>

\u201cI really enjoy working in senior living and making a connection with families and residents,\u201d shares Doris. \u201cThe Brooks has become like a second home to me.\u201d<\/p>
