Her son and daughter-in-law just made the move to Texas, and she chose to join them. After touring the senior living community, Spencer D. said the decision felt right. \u201cWe just loved the feel of the community as soon as we walked in. Western boots meet West Coast touches in a nod to both where she came from and where she is now.<\/p><p>The gathering included a heartwarming surprise: a video message recorded by residents and staff from Linda\u2019s former community in California. During one of their own social events, they paused to send greetings across the miles. Her out-of-town family, who visited for the occasion, watched the video with her for the first time.<\/p><p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t just about moving.
