A recent outing was particularly unique – though may become a favored routine! Seniors had lunch at Ford’s Garage, followed by a competitive afternoon at PopStroke, a distinctive mini golf course. Located near the Sarasota waterfront, the venue offered a relaxing yet fun environment for residents to play and enjoy their time outdoors.
“Our residents love getting out and experiencing something new, and PopStroke was a hole-in-one,” said Teresa Farris, Activities Director at Élan Manatee. “It’s not just about the game — it’s about the laughter, the friendly competition, and the joy of being active together in such a unique setting. These moments create memories that last well beyond the day.”
Élan Manatee regularly organizes trips to community hot spots like Marina Jack’s, Pier 22, Osteria 500, and the Waterside Shopping Mall at Lakewood Ranch.
