Our Memory Care Calendar
According to the Alzheimer’s Project,
“Daily routines help reduce stress and anxiety because they help everyone involved to know what to expect. Persons with dementia thrive on familiarity.”
Following that principle, our memory care calendar is more structured to give residents a sense of comfort, control, and independence.
Residents in The Cottage have opportunities to participate in similar events each day until dinnertime, starting at 9:30 a.m. (9:45 on Sundays). Each day is filled with purposeful, meaningful activities, like intellectually engaging brain teasers, exercise classes, crafts, and a sing-a-long group. Every day is a full day for Arabella of Athens Senior Living memory care residents.
