Wimberley Veteran Surprised with Books He Authored But Never Owned

Table of Contents

Dan F., an author and U.S. Army veteran, spent a lifetime writing — 15 books, to be exact!

When the team at Alexis Pointe Senior Living learned of this, they began planning something special.

Dan was honored with a surprise Miracle Moment at the Wimberley Village Library in late February. The community presented him with several of his books, as many of them are no longer available. He signed the book “Sean” before it became a permanent part of the public library’s collection.

The entire library appreciated Dan’s contributions.

Miracle Moments honor extraordinary residents each quarter, creating new, beautiful memories for them and their loved ones. Dan’s book presentation and signing was open to the public, with residents from nearby sister community Ledgestone in the Dripping Springs area showing their support, too.

“We are excited to bring everyone together for this meaningful event,” said Al Mata, Alexis Pointe’s Executive Director. “Dan’s journey as an author and his service in the Army are both inspiring, and we’re proud to help him celebrate this milestone.”

Among Dan’s works is “Unifying Fields Using Relative Motion,” a testament to his deep intellect. He also writes historical fiction. While most of his books are out of print, organizers kept three of his titles on Amazon at the signing.
