New Resident Brought to Tears After Warm Welcome from StoneCreek of Copperfield

Table of Contents

When Lois C.’s family rolled her wheelchair into StoneCreek of Copperfield for the first time, an excited group of people greeted her with a genuinely heartwarming surprise.

The entire community’s team lined up and cheered, holding a big ‘Welcome Home’ banner. The gesture brought Lois to tears.

“I had lived in my previous community for 8 years,” she said. “I had so many memories there. It was a warming touch to see so many cared about me being a new resident and welcoming me to my new home.”

The idea of moving to an assisted living community was a tough adjustment for Lois. But she has since realized how unique her community is. Lois has already begun making new friends and has invited her loved ones to visit.

“We love what we do every day, and moments like this are touching for everyone,” Executive Director Tammy Sensel shared. “It reminds our whole team that we make a difference in people’s lives every day. We do what we do with a servant’s heart.”

The team at StoneCreek of Copperfield ensures every new resident feels embraced from their very first day. Our tradition of offering a personal and friendly reception creates an environment of familiarity and comfort for residents transitioning into the community.
