What Makes The Ridglea a Different Kind of Fort Worth Senior Living Community
Every resident who joins The Ridglea brings a distinct set of preferences, a lifetime of routines, and specific care needs. Our approach starts by taking all of that seriously before anything else.
Before move-in, each resident receives a thorough care assessment from which we build a personalized plan of services adapted to their health, lifestyle, and goals. Our care team reviews and adjusts that plan as needs evolve, so residents always receive the right level of support.
By developing genuine, lasting relationships with residents, many of whom have spent years in west Fort Worth and the surrounding Tarrant County area, our team learns what makes each person feel at home. Families find they can set down the daily weight of caregiving and simply be present as the people their loved ones most need.

Common Fort Worth Assisted Living Questions
How can you confirm the level of care my loved one needs?
Before every resident moves in, our leadership and care team meets with them and their family to create a custom care plan. We review this plan regularly to ensure the right level of support is always in place. Because The Ridglea offers a continuum of care, residents can transition into memory care if their needs change, without leaving the Fort Worth senior living community they have come to call home.
Are assisted living apartments at The Ridglea private?
Yes, older adults enjoy their own private apartments with kitchenettes and accessible bathrooms. Couples may also choose to live together in one apartment.
Can seniors bring their own furniture when moving in?
Yes. Assisted living apartments are typically unfurnished so that residents can bring familiar furniture and belongings. Through our My Home program, new furnishings are available for those who prefer a move-in-ready space.
How do meals work in assisted living?
Residents enjoy three delicious meals daily in a beautiful dining room, with customizable menus of fresh, seasonal options. Snacks are available, too.
What activities do residents at The Ridglea particularly enjoy?
Residents here particularly enjoy teaching and learning alongside local nursing students, culinary demonstrations, pet therapy visits, lunch outings to Olive Garden, and puzzle sessions.
Can my loved one bring a pet?
Yes! Small dogs and cats are welcome in assisted living apartments, so seniors can continue enjoying life with their beloved companions.
How do I pay for senior living services in Fort Worth?
Families use a variety of resources to cover the cost of private-pay assisted living in Fort Worth. Many pay through savings, retirement income, or the sale of a home. Long-term care insurance may help cover services, and some families explore veterans’ benefits, life insurance conversions, or bridge loans. Our team is prepared to walk you through payment options and connect you with local resources to make the moving process easier.

Learn More About Why Families Trust Assisted Living at The Ridglea
Families often look to the experiences of others when exploring senior living and care options. At The Ridglea, we’re grateful that residents and loved ones consistently share kind words about our team and community. Their feedback reflects the supportive atmosphere, personalized care, and genuine connections that define daily life here.
“My mom went from living alone and having almost no social contact, to my family and I now having a hard time reaching her because she’s so busy! Flower arranging classes, bible studies, chair exercises, shopping/eating excursions, sing-a-longs, hot chocolate socials, and, yes, even bingo. She also enjoys roaming around, getting exercise, and finding people to meet and visit with.
She receives fresh flowers in her room once a week. They encourage residents to come to the dining room for meals, but you can certainly stay in your room if you prefer. They have an app that lets you know when they participate in an activity. There are monthly Family Nights where they have live music, raffle drawings, and it’s an all-around festive atmosphere.
My mom is back to being the dynamic, social person she was. I thought we had forever lost that version of her; thankfully, she has returned. And in true happy ending fashion, almost everyone at The Ridglea now knows my mom’s name … mine, too! She is home.
Five stars for The Ridglea and their caring staff.”
