Longview Pool Enthusiast Receives Surprise 100th Birthday Party

Arabella of Longview Senior Living was thrilled to celebrate the 100th birthday of Mildred B., an avid pool player and independent living resident.

Mildred’s passion for pool has been a highlight since she arrived at Arabella of Longview Senior Living. This centenarian has enthusiastically participated in all community pool tournaments, showcasing remarkable skill and sportsmanship. The community was honored to host a special event on Friday, May 3rd, celebrating her 100 years of life and love for the game.

In a testament to Mildred’s dedication to pool, Arabella of Longview Senior Living arranged for a professional pool player to visit and engage in a friendly competition. The event was a joyous occasion filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the celebration of a life well-lived.

“We were deeply honored to celebrate this incredible milestone with Mildred,” said Paula Matthews, the Independent Living Activities Director at Arabella of Longview. “Her passion has inspired us all, and we were excited to create a memorable event that pays tribute to her remarkable journey.”
