New Red Oak Partnership with Deer Oaks Offers Mental Health Services to Residents

Adding to an already robust offering of health care services for seniors in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, a new partnership with San Antonio-based behavioral health provider Deer Oaks now offers on-site and virtual therapy services for residents across Arabella of Red Oak. Access includes behavioral health support within the community, whether in person or via telehealth appointments.

Deer Oaks is known nationwide for delivering mental health care specifically for older adults. Since 1992, they’ve teamed up with over 1,500 communities in 31 states, making mental health support straightforward and accessible. Their team includes psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, psychiatrists trained in geriatrics, and nurse practitioners.

Red Oak residents can now access psychiatric medication management, counseling, quarterly treatment plan reviews, and psychotherapy appointments from the privacy of their homes.

“This is about removing barriers,” Civitas Senior Living Vice President of Marketing Matt Holder said in a statement to industry publication McKnight’s. “There’s no travel, no waitlists, and no added stress — just immediate access to professional support in the comfort of home.”

He added, “This expansion reflects our mission to improve senior living as a whole through meaningful partnerships and comprehensive care.”
