Long Creek Residents Deliver Smiles and Gift Baskets to Local First Responders

Table of Contents

Residents of Long Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care took a small mission into the community this week: deliver gift baskets to the Sunnyvale Police and Fire Departments.

With baskets in hand, residents walked through the stations, handing them directly to first responders. Between visits, they chatted briefly, shared smiles, and offered thanks for the work these public servants do every day. The gesture gave everyone a chance to pause and recognize each other’s efforts.

“Our residents wanted to personally show the people who protect our community that their work matters,” said Clint Poncy, Executive Director. “Seeing the residents hand over these baskets themselves added a personal touch that made the visit meaningful for everyone involved.”

Long Creek continues to look for ways for residents to interact with and support the local community.
