Tyler Seniors Receive Greeting Cards Throughout the Year

What makes a senior feel more special than receiving a card and knowing someone is thinking about them? The Hamptons of Tyler senior living residents can feel cherished and acknowledged through a special greeting card program called Flowers for Ann.

The Hamptons of Tyler | Flowers for Ann - Dorothy

Flowers for Ann is an organization that fights loneliness and isolation in seniors. It started during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic after the founder, Sydney Gee, had to say goodbye to her grandmother, Ann. Since then, the organization has sent more than 16,000 cards while reaching 58 nursing homes and having more than 5,000 card writers worldwide who volunteer.

The Hamptons of Tyler | Flowers for Ann - Kitty

The Hamptons and Flowers for Ann plan to continue their partnership throughout 2023. The residents will receive seasonal, birthday, and just thinking of you cards.

“We are excited to be a part of this non-profit,” shares Sara Teichgraeber, the Activities Director of The Hamptons. “To know that each resident is receiving a personalized card just for them makes our hearts full.”

Both The Hamptons and Flowers for Ann are available for media interviews and/or on-site visits.
