The Ridglea Senior Living brought the spirit of the season to local families through a partnership with Opening Doors for Women in Need, helping ensure that four children and their mothers received meaningful support and special gifts during the holiday season.

The Ridglea Supports Local Families Through Holiday Giving
Residents and team members at The Ridglea Senior Living in Fort Worth gathered donations and assembled holiday gifts and self-care bags for local families through their partnership with Opening Doors for Women in Need.

Our residents and team members came together to organize an angel-tree-style donation drive for these Fort Worth families. Visions of Santa’s workshop were conjured as everyone worked side by side to collect gifts and other special items for each child, as well as care packages for each mom.

The generosity of our fellow community members and the support of Opening Doors for Women in Need allowed each family to receive personalized gifts delivered just in time for Christmas. We are grateful to everyone who helped make a difference and extend the spirit of giving beyond our walls.

Partnerships Rooted in Commitment to Community

“We partnered with Opening Doors for Women in Need to bring four children and their mothers an amazing Christmas through angel tree donations,” said Michela Francis, Community Relations Director at The Ridglea Senior Living. “From 18 months old to 16 years old, we were able to provide gifts for these children and self-care bags for the mothers. We look forward to partnering with them more next year.”

This community Christmas initiative was just the start of a new quarterly partnership with this wonderful organization. While our holiday efforts helped meet immediate needs, we are excited for more opportunities to have a lasting impact together and help empower even more women and families in Fort Worth throughout the coming year.
