One Resident’s 20-Year Battle: Regaining Sensation After Decades
One resident’s experience speaks to what on-site rehabilitation can accomplish. After living with chemo-induced polyneuropathy for more than 20 years, she began working with the Select Rehabilitation team and has since regained sensation in both her hands and feet. Her improvements extend to her ability to walk and to play the piano — capacities she had struggled with for years.
