Maurice Anderson has been fixing up and keeping The Hamptons of Tyler community in tip-top shape since April of 2021. But beyond that, he’s been bringing smiles, joy, and exceptional service to every resident. As the Lead Maintenance team member, Maurice is an integral part of the residence, going above and beyond to meet the needs of the older adults who call The Hamptons home.
So, what motivates him to foster such meaningful connections? For Maurice, it’s a simple answer: “The smile I bring to their faces and the love they give back!”
His colleagues also appreciate the dedication and pride he takes in his work. “Hands down, all of our residents love Maurice!” Rae M. Quezada, The Hamptons Independent Living Manager, explained. “Every day, we see him going over and beyond his regular job duties to help our residents meet their needs, and he does it with a smile. Whether it’s helping a resident with their groceries or finding some small way to make life easier, his heart is in it.”
Maurice’s reputation is only growing! He recently caught the attention of KLTV 7 News, who showcased just how treasured he is by those he selflessly serves. On The Hampton’s social media platforms, residents often extend their gratitude for his passion for the job and his daily charisma.
