Vice President of Programming & Engagement

Nicky Brown serves as the Vice President of Programming & Engagement for Civitas Senior Living, where she leads the organization’s strategy for resident engagement and memory care across Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities. She leads the development of innovative programming, dementia care initiatives, leadership education, and strategic initiatives that enrich the lives of residents while empowering teams to create meaningful, person-centered experiences.

A Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Nicky brings nearly a decade of senior living experience, and a clinical perspective rooted in evidence-based, person-centered care. She is passionate about helping older adults live with purpose, dignity, and connection while equipping caregivers and leaders with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to foster environments where residents can thrive.

Nicky earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from West Texas A&M University. Throughout her career, she has developed organization-wide engagement programs, advanced dementia care practices, established operational standards, and designed leadership education that strengthens the resident experience across the continuum of care. Her diverse leadership experience enables her to bridge clinical excellence with organizational strategy, fostering collaboration across operations, wellness, sales, marketing, and clinical teams to elevate the resident experience, strengthen family trust, and support long-term organizational success.
